Pune Vegan Explore!

Sometimes it feels surreal when we dream about adventures and it finally comes true! Well, That's what happened when my dream, my "FIRST EVER ROAD TRIP" came true!!!  Travelling gives you a sense of freedom to explore yourself in ways you never thought of doing so ever before. It always used to fascinate me when I used to see people travelling around, having the time of their life. Even if it's work related, you still need to get out there and wander around. That's the beauty of it! it's not predictable, it's mysterious in more than one way, it's adventurous, it's a breath of fresh air! <3

Here's a Question for my readers out there: Have you traveled before? If yes, how was it? what does it make you feel? Let's share some anecdotes. Inspire the ones who haven't yet. :D

Please comment down. it will make this blog all the more interesting! <3 :D

P.S. This blog is in Collaboration with "Indian Vegan Recipes". It's an amazing channel with vegan recipe videos and also a new segment added in, as IVR Explore ! Where this Youtuber wanders around new cities and explores the vegan food that it has to offer! "Pune Vegan Explore" video will be coming up soon, So don't forget to check out this space. (Will share the link here too once its up!) <3 And as usual, no reviews, only explore! :P

As we reached Pune around 10ish on 24th October'16, we started our way to the "Granny's Bowl"  a 100% Vegan Restaurant/Takeaway Service. Their varieties of food includes Burgers, Wraps, Rice Bowls, Breakfast Bowls, Desserts & Drinks. The uniqueness lies in their Menu, for each day they have designed different cuisines from starters, main course, desserts and drinks. Everything that we tried was wholesome, healthy and delicioussss!! The cafe is completely Eco-Friendly and Sustainable. They have everything recycled. You don't get to see this kind of responsible restaurants nowadays. You Cannot miss out on this, I'm telling you! Granny's Bowl we love you! <3 :D

Their Specialty lies in healthier version of fast foods like Rolls, Briyanis, Kebabs. The interesting part about their location is that they are situated in a commercial area and where there's huge lane of small restaurants and cafes. All non-vegan of course and this one Stands out! I'm sure it will attract a lot of curiosity and it will be surprised by the taste that they have to offer. :D

We stepped into "The Real Green Cafe" It's Pune's first ever 100% Vegan Cafe. I completely fell in love with their space. It's located in a building on the first floor and ambiance is well-lit yet cosy and spacious, I was in complete "awe" the way they've organised the cafe. The Menu is hand written on a black board with colorful chalks, attractive and very different than what we regularly see in restaurants. There's a pillar that's got a lot of pretty things drawn and written on it. The windows over look towards the main road of the cafe and it's so pretty to just be their by yourself and be comfortable in your zone. You can go by, do your work with their finger-lickin' food and have your own sweet time. They've bunch of books lined up for people walking in and wanting to spend time there. It's a perfect example of how a cafe should be! It's Animal (cruelty-free) and Human Friendly! <3 :D

An Instant Ice cream Shop called "Creamist" where it's end to your sweet tooth and indulge all you want in their vast flavors of ice creams. All you gotta do is take along coconut/soy milk pack with you and they'll make a vegan version of it! Though I'm not sure if their chocolate syrups are vegan, the fruit syrups that they have are indeed vegan! :D <3

This is the first in the Country to be a complete "Dairy Free" brand. Chetran's Food proves that everything that you can make with cow's milk, they can make it with soy milk and even better and healthier and cruelty free! :D After completely being surprised with their "Herbal Tofu" I knew this the best for paneer replacer. I have struggled with finding even a decent one and after this I do not have to look any further. :D It's available everywhere in the market in Pune!

    1. Thank you Adarsh for being an avid reader. :) Well, you have a lot of vegan-friendly restaurants in Mumbai (blogged about it here: http://veganfixins.blogspot.in/2016/10/one-stop-to-mumbai-vegan-guide.html )
Although, I agree with you, it would've been great if we had a 100% vegan restaurant. Also travelling is amazing, I used to feel the same at one point, you just need to get out there with not so far places to start from and I'm sure you'll explore a lot! Hope you try it soon! :D
